Starting a wellness life in 2025

Have you been scrolling on your phone all day?

Do you want to get things done but only feel the pressure to do something when it’s 2 am and you should be asleep?

If this sounds like you, don’t worry, you’re not the only one.


Hi my name is Diana and I am a 23-year-old with a part-time-job who wants to start a business, but is hit with mental health struggles constantly!

From sleepless nights to leaving things to the last minute, sometimes these bad habits get the best of us, but for all the girlies who are struggling, this is your sign to turn your life around.

 No matter the age, we are still young, we are soo capable, and we can do anything we put our minds to.


The first thing to acknowledge is that these are purely bad habits that we have created, and we need to break them, and start over.

Secondly, the way that you think changes the way you view the world.

The mind is so powerful that if you think bad thoughts, let’s say you’re going for an interview, and you are super nervous and you start thinking of all the things that can go wrong, your brain will literally give you examples of when you failed at something, and it will feed your anxiety.


Your mind is supposed to serve YOU, and so it will do exactly that, good or bad.

There’s a quote that I really like, and it goes “ Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right” by Henry Ford.

This is why the mindset is so important.

You are what you think.


Just a side note, I’m not saying all this like I have it all figured out, I’m just aware that mindset is a very important step when it comes to a wellness lifestyle.


I think that just by realizing that you are wanting to enter your Wellness Era is a huge step, so, well done!

The first few steps are the hardest, because it’s you breaking those bad habits and cultivating new ones.

And this might look different for everyone.


For me, I am working on putting my phone down before bed, and reading for at least 30 minutes instead.

This might not look like much, but I am really struggling with getting a goodnight sleep, so by not going on my phone, I can just focus on my book and not be overstimulated from social media.

And don't feel bad if you struggle sometimes, that's normal.


This is your sign to just take the first step no matter how small it may look.

You don’t have to feel ready, you just have to start.

Because remember, “whatever you are not changing, you are choosing” - Laurie Buchanan.
