Welcome to my first blog post!
And also welcome to the first day of September.
First things first, let me introduce myself.
Hi, my name is Diana but everyone calls me Dee, and I'm 23 years old. I am currently taking a gap year from my second year of Uni. I was studying Fashion Design, but after my second year, I wasn't really enjoying it, and decided to take the year off to get back to my creative self.
Living out my independent life was so much fun, and I got to learn a lot about myself, but I also would not go outside for days, and maybe not eat the healthiest food, and although I think that's a normal Uni experience to have, at the end of two years, I was missing my family and my boyfriend, and probably the sun lol, and now I am back home.
I really want to use this year to grow and to challenge myself to become the best version of myself.
With my free time I want to take things slow, learn how to live in the present moment. Do things that I haven't done before, or get better at things I haven't done in a while.
I want to do more than just scroll on my phone for hours like I used to.
That was the old Dee.
The new Dee has a lot to learn, but I am excited to start.
And that is the reason why I am writing this blog. I want to track my progress, and to be able to look back at the steps that I took, hopefully inspiring some people along the way.
To end off this post, I want to include a gratitude segment, where I just write four things I am grateful for this week.
Firstly I am grateful for my family.
Secondly I am grateful for my boyfriend.
Thirdly I am grateful for this blog which I have worked so hard to launch, I am so proud.
And lastly, I am grateful for Pumpkin Spice Season.
I hope everyone has a great week, let me know what you are grateful for.
Love, Dee
